Elven Treaty Stones

A variety of carved pillars of stone can be found scattered across Greater Chardon, the Northwest Coast, and the Central Highlands. These are known as Elven Treaty Stones, and are ancient markers associated with old agreements between elves and the early human settlers of these regions. Usually carved with extensive writings in Elvish, along with images and occasionally Northos, they typically mark meeting points and understandings of friendship. While many have fallen into disrepair, those that remain often still carry lingering traces of the ancient magic of Aldanor and provide areas of sanctuary and peace.

One such stone, 60 feet high and marking friendship between elves and humans, is known from the travels of the Silver Tempests in the Blackwater Fens. Another, known as the Harmony Stone, is known in the Chasa River Valley.
