Kiastíōn Hēmiárktos, usually called The Hunter, was a large fey from Duskmire, with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a bear. Arrogant and cruel, he treated mortals as prey and delighted in threats, mockery, and gloating. He commanded harpies, enchanted beasts, and Duskhounds, combining predatory violence with an insistence on the forms of fey bargaining. He is rumored to have several cubs, whom he cares for deeply. The Heroes of Cleenseau killed him on October 19, DR 1720, while thwarting his attempt to abduct Queen Elaine II.
