Bullywugs
Bullywugs are freshwater-dwelling amphibious folk who live in secretive communities along rivers, bogs, and sheltered pools. They are often described as frog-like by those who have seen them, with a language that sounds, to outsiders at least, to be full of guttural croaks and swallows. While they very rarely venture into settled areas, they are not uncommon along isolated stretches of rivers, marshlands, swamps, and lakes.
While some villages and communities of bullywugs survive by stealth and raiding, whether this is a common way of life, or simply the most visible way these secretive folk interact with others, is not known.
