Fae
The fae, human-like in appearance, but possessing an otherworldly elegance and an ethereal quality, are among the most common inhabitants of the Feywild. Though many of them could pass as human or elven to a casual glance, their strange grace and unusual eyes mark them as natives of the Feywild.
These are the folk that dominate stories of fey courts, often described in mortal works as lords and ladies, though whether this reflects mortal confusion or is a true representation of their status in the Feywild is unclear. It is the Fae that feature most heavily in many famous works about the Feywild, such as A Court of Whispers, the Light of the Everglade, and A Fool’s Fortune, and in many parts of Taelgar it is the Fae who common folk imagine, if they ever think on the Feywild.
