The Istabor Alliance

The Istabor Alliance was a loose confederation of city-states, freeholds, and agricultural hinterlands in the fertile upper Istaros watershed. Isingue served as the cultural, spiritual, and magical center of this dense network of richly productive agricultural villages and towns. The region prospered both from its agricultural vitality and its position at the crossroads of trade between Cymea, Dunmar, and Sembara.

During the Great War, Isingue bore the brunt of Cha’mutte’s Plague, and was utterly destroyed. The Alliance collapsed, the land was devasted, and surviving refugees fled north and west as they could. Now, many of the descendants of these refugees call the Refounded Alliance of Aurbez their home.
