Zahara

🔈 (zah-HAH-rah)

Last known location (as of January 29th, 1730): the Great Chasm

Zahara is a Zimka dissident from Melusa, the child of Taquin, and the leader and strategist of a small circle of villagers hoping to escape from Malquin’s rule.

After Kalima returned from the labyrinth, Zahara hid her in the cliffside mines, uncertain how Malquin would react to a sacrifice returning alive.

When the Chasm Explorers returned to Melusa, they found Zahara sheltering with a few dissidents, who helped the Chasm Explorers orchestrate an escape from Melusa. Zahara helped gather villagers willing to leave, and joined those evacuated from Melusa.
