Sarren Kir
- A Yo’nari hill fort and palace in Cairn Dor, Shadowfolds, the Echo Realms
Sarren Kir, the Fort of the Sleepless, is the hill fort and royal residence of Yeshara in Cairn Dor. It stands on a rocky hill above the Wolf Queen’s Stillings and serves as the principal stronghold of the Shemra Azem.
The approach to Sarren Kir passes through dense fog and a trilith marked with wolf motifs. Beyond the trilith the fog gives way abruptly to clear skies and the guarded approaches to the fort. Yeshara rules from within the stronghold, while Shemra Azem patrols control the surrounding roads and countryside.
The fort also supports Cairn Dor’s system of captive dreamers. In DR 1748, human prisoners awaiting confinement as dreamers were held there.
