Mawaran Religion

The Mawar Confederacy and related cultural areas practice a regional form of Mos Numena, oriented around saintly intercessors. While the Eight Divines remain the ultimate source of miracles from the Divine Presence, Mawaran prayer commonly passes through saintly ancestors and heroes who bring the needs of the living before the Divines. This practice reflects a fusion of Mos Numena tradition with northern intercessory folk religions, as well as the influence of salt lizardfolk ritual practice involving Gatza.

Guzo the Mariner is an example of a Mawaran saint.
