Saka is an eldery woman, and a Master of the Mystai of Bhishma. She grew up outside Tokra, and now travels with her horse-herding family on the Varashan, helped by her niece Jita.
Saka opposed the order’s attempt to cleanse the Plaguelands in DR 1718, believing it too dangerous, and refused to participate. After the attempt failed, she fled west and did her best to train new apprentices to preserve what she could of the Mystai.
Wary of outsiders and skeptical of grand heroic quests, she believes in service to ordinary people and the preservation of their stories. For Saka, Dunmar’s strength lies in guarding its people against the darkness, and she fears that the pursuit of impossible victories will cost the order what little remains.
