Jorundr was a storm giant wanderer and student of history. He was born under the Green Sea. Eager, impulsive, and optimistic, he left his underwater home while young and wandered widely, especially across the deserts east of the Drankorian Empire. He became a friend and pupil of Hralgar, spending a century or more with him, and hoped for a new age of harmony between humans and giants.

After learning that Hralgar had been imprisoned, Jorundr set out to rescue him. He died north of Drankor in DR 1059, in what is now the Garamjala Desert, caught in the magical catastrophe that brought about the Fall of Drankor.
