Chaessenth

Last known location (as of November 9th, 1747): deep ocean west of the Mawakel Peninsula

Chaessenth is a young dragon turtle, who was captured very young (probably taken as an egg). He was held in a hidden lair in Tzingola, where a fire mage controlled him through a burning black spear and used him as the apparent monster behind attacks and gatza demands near Eskorola.

After his release, Chaessenth left for the deep western ocean. He knows songs of the Wanui Teora, evoking the stars below and the dazzling lights of the deep sea. Chaessenth formed a particular bond with Nerissa, who calmed and healed him after the spear was removed and began to pick up the melody of his ocean song.
