Eskorola

Eskorola is a small community nestled on the southern end of the Tzingola Marshes, an extensive coastal salt marsh north of Hamri. About 50-60 huts and scattered outlying dwellings, mostly built on stilts above marsh channels and relying on the vegetation to protect them from storm surges, house a hundred or so lizardfolk inhabitants.

Eskorola is a village close to the ocean. Though some huts are connected by wooden walkways or swinging bridges, many require swimming to reach. A few larger communal buildings cluster near the center of the village, set on a small artificial island, surrounded by marsh grass. Oyster farms dot the mouth of the bay and a tidal pool provides a harbor of sorts for the few larger boats, though most lizardfolk just use canoes kept by each hut, or swim.
