The Abyssal Trench
- An abyssal region in the Elemental Plane of Water, the Energy Realms
The Abyssal Trench is a poorly characterized region of the Elemental Plane of Water, the deepest and darkest part of the plane, where no light reaches. While it has been described by planar geographers, reliable information is scarce on the Material Plane, and the marids and others of the Elemental Plane of Water do not speak of it at length.
Many rumors exist about this place, including that it is home to massive leviathans the size of cities, and that in the farthest reaches of the dark, a vast canyon stretches from a deep ocean floor.
