The Varrow Forest

Varrow Forest is an old forest west of the Volta, on the northern edges of the Duchy of Telham. It is wild now, and gets older, denser, and wilder the further north and west of the river one goes.

Since the destruction of the ancient Drankorian estate known as Dandelion House in DR 1740, the deeper and darker parts of this forest have become particularly dangerous, and few travelers dare enter. Rumors speak of fungal creatures that gather around the ruins of the old manor and toxic spores that eat souls.
