The Grimstone’s Lair
- A hidden laboratory complex in the Perdoli Manor, Western Cymea, Cymea, the Western Green Sea
Beneath the ruins of Perdoli Manor lies the lair and alchemical workshop of Grimstone. It began as a Perdoli Family bolt-hole beneath the master bedroom, then was broken open and expanded by pirates in the early years of the DR 1700s. The pirates turned the bolt-hole into a much more expansive tunnel and cave system. However, in the DR 1720s, the pirates were massacred by the Tollen Navy, leaving their lair empty.
By late DR 1747 or early DR 1748, Grimstone had taken over the old hideout as the center of his petrification experiments, using the haunted remains of former pirates to help guard his lair.
On October 18th, 1748, the Labyrinth Prisoners descended into the lair, destroyed the pirate shades, killed Grimstone, and looted his laboratory. The current occupants, if any, of the lair are unknown.
