The Society of Ocean Watchers is a Mawaran organization associated with the old ocean-watching traditions of the Mawar Confederacy: the people who keep watch for danger, wrecks, and stranger signs from the western sea. Ocean watchers are known as keepers of stories, warnings, and sea-lore, and some are said to commune with the waters of the Endless Ocean.
