Ryu

Ryu is a native of Hamri and a deep sea fisherman, who lives in an abandoned watcher’s tower north of the city, across the bay on the bluffs of North Cliffs. He is well known around Hamri as an expert in finding fish and other sea creatures with an abundance of gatza.

Ryu often goes on long boat voyages far from land in search of strange creatures. In one of these trips, he rescued an osprey, Blu, who was injured. During the rescue, Ryu and Blu bonded and shared an oceanic connection, through which Blu gained the ability to shape-shift into Geo and Turk.
