The Tangled Vale is one of the four fey portals described in The Lore of the Feywild. It appears as a sheltered pocket of moss and small flowers within a dense brier of tangled thorns, and entering it is said to feel like stepping into a bright painting.
On the Material Plane, the Tangled Vale is located in the Tawir Forest, though its exact place supposedly changes. The crossing connects to Wildrun, a fey realm roughly aligned with the Tawir Forest and the Mawakel Peninsula.
