The Golden Door

The Golden Door is one of the four fey portals between the Material Plane and the Feywild cataloged in The Lore of the Feywild. It describes it as a door of shining afternoon sunlight that appears only to those whom fortune favors.

Stories place the Golden Door somewhere along the ancient road following the north bank of the Yeraad, but it does not appear in exactly the same place twice. Tales from the villages and towns along that road tell of people lucky at cards following a golden shimmer in the dark and vanishing for a night, or a year, before returning from a court of endless games in an eternal spring afternoon.
