Djinn

Djinn are a diverse group of powerful air genies, among the most famous native inhabitants of the Elemental Plane of Air.

They are commonly described as tall, blue-skinned humanoids whose lower bodies merge into billowing mist. Stories collected in On Elemental Forms describe djinni as elegant, mischievous, honorable, and changeable as the winds, able to grant great boons to those who gain their favor, or bring storms and destruction against those who displease them. Many accounts speak of great cloud-borne cities of the djinni, including Sulmana, the City of Clouds and home of the Dukes of the Four Winds, though few details and no reliable descriptions of these places exist.
