The Elderwood
- A forest in Ainumarya, the Central Highlands
Once the southern extent of Ainumarya; now inhabited by several Deno’qai tribes: Te’kula, Baz’aku, Bek’eni.
The forest’s broad, low foothills have mild, rainy winters. Summer brings regional drying and significantly less rain, though recurring mist, dripping foliage, and general sustained dampness keep the Elderwood lush through the dry season, even where nearby fields and grassland dry in the summer sun.
