The Bastion Quarter
- A neighborhood in the North Bank, Chardon, the Chardonian Empire
The Bastion Quarter, often just called the Bastion, occupies the area near the Merchant’s Gate where the northern trade road passes through the North Wall, extending south and southeast towards the river and the River Bridge. It is a relatively prosperous district, dotted with warehouses, inn, and taverns serving the overland trade from the North Road, though the nicer manors tend to be upslope, in the Summer Quarter.
The Bastion Quarter and the Summit Quarter together make up Precinct XIX.
