Rufus is the adopted son and apprentice of Alban of Ashcombe, administrator of the temple to The Wildling in Ashcombe. A trans man originally from a small village along the Enst, he is rapidly learning Alban’s knowledge of local traditions. He rarely speaks about his family background, and his opinions are respected by villagers, particularly young families. Some villagers say he occasionally displays a dark anger.
