Ishara Venn

🔈 (ih-SHAR-uh VEN)

Ishara Venn was a Tollish planar geographer associated with the University of Tollen, active in the DR 1500s and early DR 1600s, after the Great War. She is best known for The Seams Between Worlds, a systematic study of elemental vortexes and other planar connections.

Ishara’s work treats elemental vortexes as temporary points of contact created when a nearly pure expression of an elemental energy draws an Energy Realm close to the Material Plane. While many modern scholars treat her theories as controversial or fringe, Emyr of Tafolwern used her account of elemental vortexes as the starting point for his broader theory of planar upwellings.
