    A stoneborn (he/him)

Yendalo was a Stoneborn metaphysicist and mystic whose teachings became the basis of Yendalism. He rejected parts of the Standard Multiversal Model, instead dividing the planes into Inner Realms and Outer Realms according to their relationship to the Land of the Dead, which Yendalists call the Divine Veil.

For Yendalo, metaphysics was a discipline to be mastered through sustained contemplation, meditation, and mystical visions, in addition to and in support of careful reasoning. He distrusted classifications that focused on naming subdivisions of the Multiverse, preferring to ask instead about connections and flows of energy.

This approach brought his teachings into conflict with classical metaphysics, as exemplified by the University of Chardon, which generally treated formal models and cataloged observations as the surest foundations of cosmology. Yendalo did not reject reason or scholarship, but maintained that disciplined mystical insight could reveal relationships that taxonomy alone obscured.

Yendalo’s best-attested work is On the Power of Creation, which argues that the Land of the Dead shields the Inner Realms from the full force of the Plane of Creation.
