The Riven Veil is an ancient Drankorian text by the theological cosmologist Marcion of Iridel. Marcion claims that the Abyss arose from the worst impulses of humanity, drawing on Chironides the Wanderer’s argument that human preaching of hellfire and damnation helped shape the Abyss out of Soulstuff.
