On Planar Origins
A Chardonian unfinished cosmological treatise, written in the DR 990s, by Gaius Devarro
On Planar Origins was meant to be Gaius Devarro’s magisterial treatise on the origin of planes, drawing together several extant Hkaran and Drankorian works, and reconciling them with the emerging Standard Multiversal Model, but it was not finished. Nevertheless, it remains valuable for its terminology: it is widely credited with popularizing both the term the Riving and the metaphorical description of this event as a shattering, a violent separation of energies, akin to a Fireball, especially among scholarly circles.
